Updating Firmware via PCS

Firmware can be updated via PCS while the MediaPort 300 is connected to the host PC
with a TCP/IP connection.

Downloading Firmware

Download firmware as follows:

Go to www.extron.com and hover over the Download tab (see figure 22,
Figure 22. Extron Download Page
). The Download Center pane opens.
Click Firmware (

Click the desired filtering letter (M in this example,
) for the MediaPort 300.
Click Download (

On the next page, provide the required information and click Download MediaPort300.
Open the downloaded firmware installer and install the firmware file to the hard drive.
The default install location is:
Program Files (x86) > Extron > Firmware > MediaPort_300.
