USB-C HOST connector
appropriate USB connector of a PC or Mac computer for video and audio input
and output. The front panel USB Host LED lights when this connection is made.
If connecting to a USB 2.0 host, use a USB-C to USB-A cable.
If connecting to a USB 3.x host, use a suitable USB-C to USB-C or USB-C
to USB-A cable that supports Super Speed data. If the intermediate USB cable
does not support Super Speed data, the MediaPort 300 enumerates with the USB
host as USB 2.0 with reduced video capabilities.
If using USB 2.0 extension, configuring the MediaPort 300 to use USB Group 2 in
PCS may optimize performance.
The current enumeration status (no host, USB 2.0 host, USB 3.x host) can be
verified on the internal HTML page of the MediaPort 300 or in PCS.
