The valid range of the level for a specific control depends on the control addressed:
The HDMI audio input gain range is –18 dB to +24 dB (
The USB audio input gain range is -100 dB to 0 dB (
The Mic/Line 1 input gain range is –18 dB to 60 dB (
The Line In 2 gain range is –18 to +24 dB (
For attenuation, the negative sign (–) must be entered and is reported in the response. For gain, the positive sign (+) is optional and
is not returned in the response.
