Mixing and Control

Setting appropriate input gain can be done in the Input tab of PCS (see
page 41). Once the input gain is set for optimal signal levels, mixing and further run-time
level control can be performed from the Mix tab (see
Mix controls for near end audio (captive screw, line level outputs)
Analog Line Out 1 and Line Out 2 can be configured in three unique configurations:
Stereo (default) (see figure 4, red) — Line Out 1 is the left audio output and Line
Output 2 is the right audio output.
Dual Mono (green) — Program audio sources are summed to mono; Line Out 1 and 2
offer identically mixed mono outputs.
Line Out 1 – Program, Line Out 2 – PC (USB) (blue) — This mode is useful when in
conjunction with an external DSP processor. Line Out 1 contains only program audio
(HDMI and optionally Line In 2) while Line Out 2 contains only audio from the USB host
PC.
