Mode Activation
Hold down the recessed RESET
for 30 seconds while applying power
to the unit.

Hold the button for
approximately 6 seconds, until the
Reset LED blinks twice in succession
(6 seconds). Then momentarily press
RESET within 1 second.

the Reset LED blinks three times
in succession (9 seconds). Then

NOTE: Reverts to the factory

Performing IP settings and factory resets
Perform resets of the unit as follows (see figure 14):

button • Reverts to the factory default firmware for a single power cycle.
• All user files and settings, such as IP settings, are maintained.

NOTE If you do not want to update firmware, or you performed
a firmware reset by mistake, cycle power to the unit to return to
the firmware version that was running before the firmware reset.
• Resets port mapping back to factory default without affecting the
device configuration:
• Turns DHCP off
• Resets:
• IP address = 192.168.254.254
• Subnet mask = 255.255.255.0
• Gateway address = 0.0.0.0
• DNS = 127.0.0.
The Reset LED blinks four times in succession during the reset. Retains
all user files and settings, including drivers, and audio adjustments.
• Performs a complete reset to factory defaults (with the exception of
the firmware):
• Does everything Reset IP settings reset does.
• Resets most user modifiable settings, including IP settings and
within
real-time adjustments.
• Removes all files from the unit.
The Reset LED blinks four times in succession during the reset.
• If DHCP is disabled, it is enabled.

Purpose and Notes
Use this reset mode
to return the unit to
the factory default
firmware for a single
power cycle. Use
if incompatibility
issues arise with
user-loaded
firmware.
The IP settings
reset enables you
to set IP address
information using
ARP and the MAC
address.
Factory reset is
for starting over
with the default
configuration. Same
as the E ZQQQ }
SIS command on
page 58.
