Verizon Cellular Data Service and SIM Card Registration

The global 4G cellular router (SE-SL3011-4GG) is compatible with cellular data service from
Verizon Wireless. All Verizon service setup is done through https://thingspace.verizon.com.
Please create your Verizon account and activate your SIM card for the specific router IMEI
number before inserting the SIM card into the router.
NOTE: Connection on Verizon network requires router firmware version 3.20 or later.
This guide walks you through setting up Verizon cellular data service with ThingSpace,
using instructions valid at the time it was published. For the latest instructions, please see the
ThingSpace website.
ThingSpace Manage is Verizon's portal for managing IoT device connectivity on the Verizon
Wireless network. The following steps will get your router set up on Verizon's data plan. To
learn more about the full ThingSpace feature set, including alternate methods for setting up
devices, please see the ThingSpace website.
1. Sign up for a ThingSpace account at
ThingSpace under the Sign up menu in the upper right).
2. Choose a Starter account or an Enterprise account. We'll use the Starter option for this
guide. Under Starter, select Developer connectivity account.
3. Select Sign Up in the upper right and enter the registration information. Note that you
will need to retrieve passcodes from both an email address and a mobile phone and
enter a valid billing credit card during the account setup.
4. Navigate to Thingspace Marketplace
https://thingspace.verizon.com/iot-marketplace/
and purchase a Cat 1 and above Ruggedized
SIM card.
