At the Preset Channel list option you can choose between ORF List, HD Austria Senderliste, Family List and
Young Spirit, depending on your preferences and subscription (an overview about the different channels
in each list can be found on our website www.strong.tv).
In the ORF List you can find mainly Austrian ORF HD channels, respectively the most popular and
preferred German-language Free-To-Air TV stations in SD and HD. At the end of this list there are,
amongst others, channels from the HD Austria and Plus Austria package as well.
The HD Austria Senderliste mainly includes channels from the HD Austria- and Plus Austria package, as
well as the most popular ORF channels; German-language Free-To-Air TV stations in SD and HD and
international channels. This list is maintained and updated automatically by the service list provider and
cannot be edited. The channel editing can only be applied for channels which are saved above channel
number 4000 or saved in favourite list(s).
The Family list and Young Spirit serves a mixed selection of Austrian and German channels as mentioned
above, but in different sequences. These lists can be fully edited and won't be updated automatically.
After selecting the preferred channel list, use pq to select the Regional channel option and by pressing
t u or OK and pq, you decide which ORF2 HD channel should be placed on position 2 of the selected
channel list.
After your preferred channel list and the regional channels are set, press BLUE Next to finish the first
installation. Your receiver will switch to the 1st channel of your selected list respectively search for the HD
Austria Senderliste and afterwards you can enjoy watching TV with your new receiver!

5.0 QUICK GUIDE TO USING YOUR RECEIVER

We at STRONG understand that you can't wait to enjoy your new HD receiver. The following quick guide
will make you familiar with the basic operation of this device. We do, however, advice you to read the full
manual on our website www.strong.tv to get the best performance from your STRONG HD receiver.
To switch your receiver on or to Standby, use the q button on the remote control or the button on
the left-hand side of the front panel. Please, insert your valid and activated Irdeto smartcard for proper
reception of the channel bouquet of your choice. Choose a channel with P-/P+ respectively use these
buttons on the front panel or the CH+/CH- buttons. Alternatively, you can digit the channel number
with the 0~9 buttons on the remote control or press OK in viewing mode to display the channel list.
The volume can be adjusted with the VOL+/VOL- buttons. The usage of VOL+/VOL- and ! is possible
in all menus which present a TV picture in the background and can be used in the videotext mode
additionally. In viewing mode you can also use t u.
P+/P- enable you to scroll page wise in all list modes to choose your channel or make further selections
as conveniently as possible.
To open the channel and programme* information, you have to press the INFO button in viewing
mode. In this state it is possible to use t u to display channel and programme information about other
channels without switching channels. Press INFO twice to display detailed programme information
about the current or next programme. Use t u to change between the current and next event
information. In the respective programme information you can use P+/P- to scroll if applicable. If you
press INFO for the third time, the corresponding technical details will be displayed. Press INFO or
close the information.
* Programme information is displayed when available. Availability depends on the broadcast.
NOTE:
5 min after switching the receiver into Standby it will enter the deep sleep
mode. Within this time the receiver is able to start up quickly. Starting up
from deep sleep takes approx. 45 sec.
