3.3 Connecting to digital audio amplifier

Connect one end of a good quality HDMI cable to the HDMI output of your receiver and the other end to
an HDMI input of your home theatre or digital amplifier. Connect a second HDMI cable to the output of the
home theatre or digital amplifier to an HDMI input of your TV. Be sure to select the appropriate HDMI input
on the home theatre or digital amplifier to loop the video through to the TV.

3.4 Loop through connector.

If needed, you can loop trough the incoming signal from your cable provider to another device, like a TV or
another cable receiver. They can use the same signal independently. Note: This is not a modulator output.

4. FIRST TIME INSTALLATION

After all connections have been made properly, switch on your TV and make sure the receiver is connected
to the main power. If you are using the receiver for the first time or restored to factory default, the
Installation guide will appear on your TV screen. Uset uto select the OSD Language of your preference.
Set the other options as are appropriate for your situation. Country will follow OSD Language but can be
changed in the main menu. FTA Only FTA means only Free-to-Air channels will be stored after a search has
been done. All would store all channels. This receiver can only decode FTA channels. Selecting Channel
Search and press OK will start off the search for programs. After the automatic search is finished the receiver
will show the first channel in the list.
NOTE: Installers or advanced users may press MENU while in the {Installation guide} and perform (search)
options from the main menu immediately.
NOTE: If no channels were found during the automatic channel scan, the receiver will return
to Installation guide menu. Check your cabling and connection to the cable network.
If confirmed use the advanced search options from the main menu by pressing MENU
while in the Installation guide. See chapter 7 for detailed explanations.

5. QUICK GUIDE FOR USING YOUR RECEIVER

The following quick guide will make you familiar with the basic operation of this device. We do, however,
advice you to read the full manual to get the best performance from your HD receiver.
To turn your receiver ON or to Standby, press q on the remote control. Choose channels with pq.
Alternatively, you can also enter the channel number with the 0~9 buttons on the remote control or press
OK in viewing mode to display the channel list. The volume can be adjusted with tu.
