6.1.6 AMAX-5080 Counter Mode
The AMAX-5080 supports two counter modes, the counter mode can be set by the
Cn_Mode_Select (0x80n0:01) value "0" (Encoder Mode) or "1" (Bi-Direction Mode).
Encoder Mode

Bi-Direction Mode

Both modes support the following features:
Overflow/underflow detection and reload counter

Latch counter value

Reset counter value

Set counter value

Counter frequency measurement

