Prepare the Spectra 64000 Library
Open the Library
1. Use the Spectra 64000 library door key to unlock the front door of the library.
2. Open the library door.
3. Remove any drives from the library drive slots by gently pulling them straight out
(Figure 26). Set the drives aside.
Note:
Before removing any drives, check to see if the drive slot door located on
the left of the drives is fastened to the robotic rack assembly with captive
screws. If the drive slot assembly has no screws attaching it to the robotic
rack assembly, then it is a stationary door, and you should proceed
directly to Step 4.
Caution:
Make sure you keep the tape drives in order so they can be replaced in
the exact same location after this procedure is completed.
