Prepare the Spectra 64000 Library

Shut Down the Library
1. Disable any backup software that might try to access the library.
2. Power off the Spectra 64000 library.
3. Disconnect AC power before opening the library door.
Warning:
Make sure that you disconnect AC power before continuing with this
procedure; electric shock inside the library can cause injury or death.
Disconnecting AC power will also ensure that your hands, hair and
loose clothing will be safe from moving parts within the library, if the
unit were to be accidentally powered on while you are working inside
of the library.
4. If necessary, move the library to a location where you have full access to the front
of the library.
Warning:
The Spectra 64000 library is heavy, about 881 lbs (400 kg). Get help
when moving the library.
