Precautions

To avoid damage to the AP, observe the following safety precautions:
Do not power on the device during installation.
Install the device in a well-ventilated location.
Do not subject the device to high temperatures.
Keep away from high voltage cables.
Install the device indoors.
Do not expose the device in a thunderstorm or strong electric field.
Keep the device clean and dust-free.
Disconnect the device before cleaning it.
Do not wipe the device with a damp cloth.
Do not wash the device with liquid.
Do not open the enclosure when the device is working.
Fasten the device tightly.

Installing the Access Point

Note
You are advised to install the device where you can get the optimal coverage.
In the indoor area, the signal coverage of the ceiling-mounted device is larger than
that of the wall-mounted device. Please choose the ceiling-mounting method first.
3.4.1

Ceiling Mounting

(1) Drill four 6.5 mm (0.26 in.) diameter holes in the ceiling, 53 mm (2.09 in.) apart. Tap
wall anchors into the holes, and drive screws through the mounting bracket into the
anchors to secure the bracket.
