Connecting the USB Interface

Do not connect the USB cable at this time. You will be instructed when to
connect the USB cable when you install the driver from the supplied CD.
If you are connecting your printer directly to a stand alone computer proceed
to the relevant section within "Windows Installation" section of this guide.

Connecting the Network Interface

1. Turn off the printer and the computer.
2. Connect an Ethernet cable between
the printer and an Ethernet hub.
3. Turn on the printer and then the
computer. If your printer is to be
installed as a network device, please
refer to the relevant section in the
Software Installation Guide and/or
the Network and Configuration Guide
on the supplied CD for further details
on how to configure the network
connection before installing the
drivers for the printer.
Administrator's authority is
required when installing a network
connection.
