8.2 REFLECTING THE SYSTEM MODE SETTINGS IN THE PRINTER

The settings configured in the system mode or user system mode are saved in the printer at the following
timing, depending on the items to be saved.
Periodic save at 20-msec. intervals
When the RESET menu in the system mode or user system mode is performed
The changes in the settings, with a partial exception, take effect at a power on time or after a reset.
Performs self diagnosis, prints out the result, checks for the print head broken
elements.
Sets the parameters for each printer function.
Adjusts the printer mechanism position and sensor.
Tests the print quality by printing slant lines, characters and barcodes.
Displays the ambient temaprature and print head temparature, and adjusts each
level of the media sensors.
Clears the maintenance counter and parameter settings.
Sets the interface parameters such as network, USB, RS232C and parallel.
Sets the function of the BASIC program to download it to the printer.
Adjusts the printer before shipment.
Used to set RFID-related parameters.
Sets the date & time of the real time clock and chooses a real time renewal
timing.
Same as the BASIC function.
Copies data (including firmware) to/from a USB memory.
Restarts the printer.
