To protect the camera against security risks in data technology, the following measures are recommended
after the installation has been completed:
MxManagementCenter:
n Menu View > Wizards & Tools > Secure System:
n Change camera factory default password: √
n Enable encrypted HTTPS: √
Disable public access: √

n User Management (for all users):
n Force Complex Password: √
n Log out on Inactivity: After 5 min
User interface of the camera in the browser:
n Admin Menu > Network Setup > Web Server:
Enable MxWeb: –

n Enable intrusion detection: √
n Notification threshold: 10
n Timeout: 60 minutes
n Block IP Address: √
