LAN Configuration
Type Meaning
Check box Lets the system make LAN calls, provided there is a
LAN connection and TCP/IP has been configured.
Gatekeeper setup
Type Meaning
Check box Specifies that your network uses a gatekeeper. If
your system uses gateways, then it must also be
configured to use a gatekeeper.
Radio button Allows you to manually select a gatekeeper.
User defined The DNS name or IP address of the collaboration
field system on which the gatekeeper is installed.
Radio button Allows the iPower system to select a gatekeeper
automatically. If the system locates a gatekeeper, it
displays the IP address automatically.
Type Meaning
Check box Lets the system place calls using extension
numbers, provided there is a LAN connection and
TCP/IP has been configured.
Type Meaning
Check box Specifies that all multipoint calls initiated by this
system must be ISDN. This setting is available
only for systems configured to use a PathNavigator
gatekeeper.
