RF Module Configuration

Use XCTU to configure the RF Module

XBee Configuration and Test Utility (XCTU) is a multi-platform program that enables developers to interact with Digi
radio frequency (RF) devices through a graphical interface. The application includes built-in tools that make it easy to
set up, configure, and test Digi RF devices.
For instructions on downloading and using XCTU, go to:

Load default firmware settings

In XCTU, you can load default module firmware settings onto a module in your device list. To load default firmware
settings:
1. Switch to Configuration working mode.
2. Select a module from the device list. XCTU displays the current firmware settings for that module.
3. From the Configuration toolbar, click the Load default firmware settings button to load the default values
established by the firmware.
4. Firmware settings are loaded but not written to the module. In order to write them in the module, click the Write
module settings button on the toolbar.
Note
You can also load default firmware settings with the Firmware explorer tool, but the tool does not have write
functionality.
