With the operating system frozen or not completely loaded
If the operating system is not responding anymore or not completely
loaded, perform the following:
This procedure can cause corrupted system data. However, the system
should be sufficiently protected against this by the journaling file system
and the battery backup unit (see section "Battery Backup Unit" on
page 2-14).
Shut down the system by pressing the power switch until the sys-
tem turns off.
The system will then shut down immediately.
