9.3.2 Operating Mode SHORT

In this operating mode simple one-character commands are evaluated and replied
depending on the command type. The IGM11 will only reply on request. The com-
mand line must start with <STX> and terminate with <ETX>. The reply will also be
enclosed between <STX> and <ETX>. There is no distinction between upper and
lower case.
