About This Manual
This manual is written for system integrators, IT technicians and knowledgeable end users.
It provides information for the installation and use of the X13SWA-TF motherboard.
About This Motherboard
The Supermicro X13SWA-TF supports a single Intel® Xeon® W-3400 (112L) / W-2400 (64L)
series processor in Socket E1 LGA4677, with up to 56 CPU cores and a thermal design
power (TDP) of up to 350W. Built with the Intel W790 chipset, the X13SWA-TF supports up to
1TB of ECC RDIMM and 4TB of 3DS RDIMM with speeds of up to 4800 MT/s (1DPC)/4400
MT/s (2DPC) in 16 ECC DDR5 (288-pin) SMD DIMM slots (for Intel Xeon W-3400 series
processors). This motherboard features superior IO expandability, which includes up to
six PCIe 5.0 x16 slots with metal armor, eight SATA 3.0 ports, four M.2 sockets, two U.2
connectors, seven USB ports, three USB headers and dual LAN ports (one 1GbE and one
10GbE). It also offers the most advanced data protection capabilities that encompasses
support of Trust Platform Module (TPM). The X13SWA-TF is optimized for high-performance,
high-end computing platforms and is ideal for media and entertainment, engineering, scientific
computing, and AI development applications. Please note that this motherboard is intended

Note 1: The memory speed, DIMM and PCIe slots supports depend on the processor
used in the system. The related information mentioned above is based on Intel Xeon
W-3400 series (112L) processors.
Note 2: For Intel Xeon W-2400 series (64L) processors, the memory support is up to
512GB of ECC RDIMM and 2TB of 3DS RDIMM in eight DIMM slots.
Note 3: The Intel Xeon W series processors only support TPM 2.0 standard.
