The vehicle is locked again.

Function of interior protection
When interior protection is primed, a visual and
audible alarm is triggered if movement is detected
in the vehicle interior.
Interior protection is primed automatically after
approximately ten seconds:
after locking the vehicle with the key
R
Interior protection is only primed when the follow-
ing components are closed:
Doors
R
Rear-end door
R
Interior protection is automatically deactivated:
after pressing the Ü button on the key
R
after pressing the start/stop button with the
R
key in the stowage compartment

The following situations can lead to a false alarm:
when there are moving objects suchas mas-

cots in the vehicle interior
if a side window is open
R
if the sunroof is open
R
Priming/deactivating interior protection
Multimedia system:

Activate O or deactivate ª the function.

Interior protection is primed again in the following
cases:
The vehicle is unlocked again.

A door is opened.
