▌Information on Near Field Communication
(NFC)
NFC enables short-range wireless data transfer or
(re)connection of a mobile phone with the multi-
media system.
The following functions are available without hav-
ing authorised a mobile phone:
Transferring a URL to be viewed in the multi-

media system (see the manufacturer's operat-
ing instructions).
Setting up the vehicle's Wi-Fi access data via

the system settings (
page 248).

▌Using a mobile phone with Near-Field Commu-
nication (NFC)
Requirements:
NFC is activated on the mobile phone (see the

manufacturer's operating instructions)
The mobile phone's screen is switched on and

unlocked (see the manufacturer's operating
instructions)
It is possible to use a mobile phone via NFC with
®
Bluetooth
telephony.
To connect a mobile phone: hold the NFC area

of the mobile phone (see manufacturer's oper-
ating instructions) on mat

mobile phone on it.
The mobile phone is connected to the multi-
media system.
To change a mobile phone: hold the NFC area

of the mobile phone (see manufacturer's oper-
ating instructions) on the mat or place the
mobile phone on it.
If the mobile phone has already been author-
ised on the multimedia system, it is now con-
nected.
If the mobile phone is authorised on the multi-
media system for the first time, it is connected
after confirming the mobile phone instructions
(see the manufacturer's operating instruc-
tions).
