After four hours of non-operational time (igni-
tion off), the specified climate values for tem-
perature setting and manual fan in the rear
passenger compartment will be synchronised
with the driver's climate zone.

Operating the climate control system

Switching climate control on/off
To switch on: set the airflow to level 1 or

higher using the H button.
To switch off: set the airflow to level 0 using
#
the H button.
If climate control is switched off, the windows
may mist up more quickly. Switch climate control
off only briefly.
Switching the A/C function on or off via the con-
trol panel
The A/C function heats, cools and dehumidifies
the vehicle's interior air.
Press button ¿.

Switch off the A/C function only briefly. Other-
wise, the windows could mist up more quickly.
Condensation may drip from the underside of the
vehicle when cooling mode is active. This is not
indicative of a fault.

The compressor function will be deactivated in
the following cases:
when you are driving on a gradient of more

than 35%
when you are driving at an angle across an
R
incline of more than 35%
Activating/deactivating the A/C function via the
multimedia system

Activate O or deactivate ª the function.

Setting climate control to automatic mode
In automatic mode, the set temperature is con-
trolled and maintained at a constant level by the
air supply.
