Traffic reports can be received with the following

Live Traffic Information or FM RDS-TMC is dis-
played with a symbol.

Hazard warnings can be received using the
Car-to-X service.
There may be differences between the traffic
reports received and the actual road and traffic
conditions.

Registering Live Traffic Information:

Information on the vehicle's position is regularly
sent to Mercedes-Benz AG. The data is immedi-
ately rendered anonymous by Mercedes-Benz AG
and forwarded to the traffic data provider. Using
this data, traffic reports relevant to the vehicle's
position are sent to the vehicle. The vehicle acts

Current traffic reports are received via the
Internet connection or via data roaming (for
selected countries).
The traffic situation is updated at short, regu-
lar intervals.
In selected countries, the subscription service
is available free of charge for a period of three
years from the manufacturing date.
