Note: The message that contains the attachment is marked as unread on the Messages
screen.
If the message contains multiple attachments, you can request the table of contents for
another attachment while your handheld retrieves the table of contents for the current
attachment. Select another attachment. Click the trackwheel to view the menu. Click
Expand. Complete steps 4 and 5.
Note: If an appears beside the Table of Contents heading, the attachment request
X
failed. Refer to "Frequently asked questions" on page 246 for more information on the
attachment service.
6. Select a table of contents entry and click the trackwheel to view the menu.
7. Click Retrieve. A request for the entry is sent and a pending icon appears
beside the selected entry. When the selected table of contents entry is received,
the content for the entry appears.
To open the full content of an attachment
1. On the Home screen, click the Messages icon. The Messages screen appears.
2. Open the message that contains the attachment that you want to open.
3. Click the trackwheel to view the menu. Click Open Attachment. The
Attachments screen displays the names of the attached files.
4. Under the name of the attachment that you want to open, select Full Content.
5. Click the trackwheel to view the menu. Click Retrieve. A request for the full
attachment is sent to the server. A pending icon appears beside the Full
Content heading of the selected attachment.
