If you set the Wait For field to My Response, after the handheld dials the
main number, the Dial Extension dialog box appears. You are prompted
to send the next numbers.
If you set the Wait For field to 2 seconds, 4 seconds, or 6 seconds, the
handheld pauses for the specified period of time before dialing the
extension automatically.
5. In the Extension Length field, press the Space key until the preferred option
appears.
6. Click the trackwheel to view the menu. Click Save.
Note: In the Address Book application, if you specified a pause or wait with an
extension, the smart dialing options for corporate extensions do not apply. The
handheld dials the extension according to your saved Address Book entry. Refer to "To
add pauses and waits" on page 101 for more information.

Calling voice mail

If your SIM card is provisioned for voice mail, your handheld obtains the voice
mail access number automatically from the SIM card. Refer to your Nextel Services
Guide for more information on your Nextel Voice Mail service.
Note: If your SIM card is provisioned for voice mail, the Unanswered Calls call
forwarding profile is set to On. You must keep this call forwarding profile enabled to
have voice mail service on your handheld.
If you disable the Unanswered Calls call forwarding profile, voice mail service is
removed from your handheld. To enable voice mail again, you must enable the
Unanswered Calls call forwarding profile and manually type your voice mail access
number. Refer to "To edit your voice mail access number" on page 140 for more
information on setting your voice mail access number.
