2. Click the trackwheel to view the menu. Click Status. The Phone Info screen
appears, displaying the phone number for your handheld and your Nextel
Direct Connect Number. The Phone Info screen also displays the Last Direct
Connect Call timer, the Total Direct Connect Calls timer, the Last Call timer,
and the Total Calls timer.
3. Select the timer that you want to reset and click the trackwheel to view the
menu. Click Clear Timer. The timer is reset to 0:00.
Note: To clear all the timers for your Phone application, click the trackwheel to view the
menu. Click Clear All Timers.
4. Click the trackwheel to view the menu, and then click Save.
The timer is reset and you return to the Phone screen.

Placing emergency calls

You can place calls to emergency numbers at any time, even if your handheld has
a password set or does not have a SIM card inserted.
Warning: This feature is reserved for emergency calls ONLY. If you are placing a call
when your handheld is locked, only recognized emergency numbers (such as 911) are
accepted.
To place emergency calls
1. On the Home screen, click the Phone icon. The Phone screen appears.
2. Click One Time Dial. The Phone Number/DCID dialog box appears. Press
the Escape button if a previously dialed number appears in the Phone
Number/DCID dialog box.
3. Type the emergency phone number. Click Call.
