To set configuration options
1. On the Home screen, click a browser icon. The startup screen appears.
2. Click the trackwheel to view the menu. Click Options. The Browser Options
screen appears.
3. Click Browser Configuration. The Browser Configuration screen appears.
4. In the Home page address field, type the web address for your home page.
This field cannot be empty.
Note: If you have modified the Home page address on the Browser Configuration
screen, and you want to reset the field to the default address, click the trackwheel to view
the menu and click Restore Home Page.
5. In the On startup, load field, press the Space key until the page that you want
to view each time you open a browser application appears.
6. Click the trackwheel to view the menu. Click Save Options.
Warning: You should not change the additional fields and check boxes on the Browser
Configuration screen. Contact Nextel Customer Care or your system administrator for
more information.
You return to the Browser Options screen.
Note: You can see the version of your current Browser and configure the default
Browser type by selecting the Browser item from the Options screen. Refer to "Browser"
on page 232 for more information.

Setting general options

On the General Properties screen, you can customize the following options:
Content Mode: Select the type of content that your handheld accepts. By
default, this field is set to WML for the Nextel Online and Nextel.com
browser applications and to WML & HTML for the BlackBerry Browser
application.
Smart Caching Expire Time: Select how much time should pass before the
cache is automatically cleared. By default, this field is set to 0.
Note: Certain web sites do not save web pages to the cache. If you set this field, all web
pages are cached. If you notice irregular behavior on a web site, set this field to 0.
