Short ASCII Commands

The most universal method for controlling a Camera Link camera such as the GO-5000M-PMCL-UV is
by the use of short ASCII commands sent via serial communications. All Camera Link frame grabber
boards support the use of these short ASCII commands. SDKs that utilize these ASCII commands for
developing machine vision applications are typically available from the grabber manufacturer, as well
as from third-party vendors.
This section describes how to configure various camera settings using serial communication and
specific short ASCII commands. A complete list of all available ASCII commands for this camera can
be found at the end of this manual.
