Test Procedure

Laser Warning
When a service operation is taking place with the cover removed, disconnect the laser according to the procedure in
Activating the Scanner Without the Cover (Laser Deactivated) on Page
service procedure, wear protective safety glasses at all times.
Before installing the scanner cover, confirm that the left and right limit sensors function properly:
[1] Go to Settings>Diagnostics>Motion.
[2] In the Linear Motor section, enter 5 in Required Speed field.
[3] Click Set.
[4] In the Linear Motor section, click << to activate the linear motor until it reaches the left limit sensor.
[5] Click >> to move the motor until it reaches the right limit sensor.
[6] Verify that the indicator light illuminates.
[7] In the Linear Motor section, enter 10 in the Required Speed field.
