The 3rd to 4th trays from the top down can be changed for each of
the five feature buttons displayed in Ratio Selection on the Basic
Copying screen. Select the ratio from the preset ratio buttons.
Enter the setting using the number buttons listed in the following
table. The default is 50% for the 3rd Tray from the top, 70.7% for
the 4th Tray from the top.
Setting
Set up the defaults for different copy features. The machine
returns to the defaults when the power is turned on, the machine
is returned from the energy-saving mode, or the reset button was
pressed.
The following items can be set in Copy Features Defaults.
Set the default for Output Color on the Basic Copying screen.
Select one of the following options:
• No Defaults
• Auto
• Full Color
• Black
• Dual Color
• Single Color
The default is Black.
NOTE: If No Defaults is selected, a color mode must be selected
for copy jobs, or the machine will not start copying.
NOTE: If Black is selected on the Basic Copying screen, the copy
output will have the same image quality as Halftone, selected in
Text&Photo.
NOTE: When Dual Colors or Single Color is selected on the Basic
Copying screen, the Original Type setting will be invalid.
