User Phase Correction is used to adjust for known phase errors in the system. User
Phase Correction is measured in degrees from -180 to 180. The default value is "0".
When a User Phase Correction is entered, it will have an effect on Watts and VARs,
Fundamental Watts and VARs, PF and Displacement PF, and the phase angles reported
for fundamental values.
It will have no effect on the magnitudes of phase-to-phase
Fundamental Volts.

7.10 Calibration

Routine re-calibration is not recommended or required. A field calibration check every few
years is a good assurance of proper operation.

7.11 Installation and Calibration for the S1C Option

Each M871 with the S1C option is calibrated at the factory with a set of external split core
CT's. During this process four calibration constants are generated for each CT. As with all
previous M871 input options, these constants are stored in the M871 non-volatile memory.
Additionally, these constants are now also printed to a label affixed to each CT along with
the M871 Serial Number and the phase (A,B,C,N) the CT was calibrated on.
For normal installation, connect the external split core CT to the M871 input terminal with
the matching serial number and phase. As noted above, the factory calibration is already
stored in the M871 and accuracy will meet published specifications.
If for some reason the above installation method cannot be used, then the M871 factory
calibration may be altered. Locate the four calibration constants (GH, GL, PH, PL) on the
label of the external split core CT. Note the M871 serial number and phase to which the
CT is attached. Connect to the M871 with the Configurator. On the Split Core CT
Calibration page, enter the four calibration constants (GH, GL, PH, PL) into the appropriate
locations.
After save and reboot, the entered calibration will replace the original factory calibration.
Accuracy will be comparable to original and within published specifications
