Material required
• Birch Log Kit, which contains:
• 7 logs
• 3 ember chunks
• 1 2-cup bag of embers
• Gloves, if desired, non included

Installation
Carefully unpack the kit. Note each log has its own
number stamped on the bottom. Some logs have pegs
to help place them.
1. Place G4 ember bed onto the burner, placing the
groove under the log on the burner's front top rail
as indicated.

2. Place log G1 behind the burner on the fuel bed sup-
port and slide it forward until it touches the front
vertical tabs of the support. Slide
the log to the right so it rests
against the pilot shield.

3. Place embers, by hand, in the cavity in front of the
burner as indicated.
4. Place log G25 on the left pin of G1 resting the other
end on the burner cover left side of the embers.

5. Place log G23 on the right pin of G1 resting the other
end on the burner cover right of the embers.
