1. First, find the scaling ratio for the ROI. To make the virtual pixel size of the new camera (GOX-
5105C) the same size as the current camera (GOX-2402C), the scaling ratio is "0.79" (2.74 ÷
3.45 = 0.79).
2. Next, configure the ROI settings for the new camera (GOX-5105C). Set the new camera's Width
and Height (ImageFormatControl) as follows:
a. Width: 1920 ÷ 0.79 = 2430. However, since the ROI Width Step is 8, set Width to "2432".
b. Height: 1200 ÷ 0.79= 1519. However, since the ROI Height Step is 2, set Height to "1520".
3. Turn the new camera's ImageScalingMode On.
4. Set ImageScalingHorizontal and ImageScalingVertical to "0.789474" (1920 ÷ 2432 =
0.789474 and 1200 ÷ 1520 = 0.789474).
5. Now the new camera's virtual pixel size is 3.45 μm x 3.45 μm, and the output image size is 1920
x 1200.

Decimation Mode

Related Setting Items:
Decimation mode performs 2X downsampling of the image horizontally, vertically, or both. This
reduces the file size for processing or storage while maintaining the full field of view of the image.
Please set DecimationHorizontal, DecimationVertical in ImageFormatControl.
