Installing the NS204i-p G2 Boot Device option

Prerequisites
Before beginning installation, ensure that the server is updated with the latest operating system firmware and
drivers. Before installing this option, be sure you have the following:
• The components included with the hardware option kit.
• T-10 Torx screwdriver.
Procedure
Installing drives onto the boot device
1. Remove the liner from the thermal interface pad.
2. Install the drives.
Installing the boot device
3. Power down the server.
4. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
