4.8.3 MUTING LAMP output (terminal 4)
The IEC/EN 61496-1 norm makes mandatory the use of a white lamp which indicates to the
operators that a muting sequence is being performed, and that the protective equipment is
inactive. The " MUTING LAMP " output is permanently self-checked, and correct operation
of the lamp is monitored each time the muting sequence starts (open circuit and short-circuit
detection). An orange LED indicator located on the front cover gives an indication of the
external lamp status.
