The fast Fourier transform (FFT) of the measured trace data is based on the following
parameters:

Window function
Set by SENSe<Sensor>:TRACe:FFT:WINDow.

Number of values used
The number of required values per trace sequence is set by
TRACe:POINts. For computing the FFT, the closest power of two below this num-
ber is used, 2

Number of values returned
The number of computed values is half the number of used values.
●
Distance of the spectral lines in Hz
Equals the reciprocal of the trace length, which is set by
TRACe:TIME.
Note: The spectrum computed as described is the spectrum of the envelope power,
different from the results displayed by a spectrum analyzer. For questions on details,
