Equipment Not in Use
Place the equipment in standby mode when not in use for a short period of

time by pressing the A key.
For longer periods of non-use, the device should be disconnected from the

power supply.
Connecting Electronic Devices (Peripherals)
Make absolutely sure that the device is unplugged from the power supply
t
before connecting|disconnecting any peripheral device (printer, scanner, PC) to
or from the data interface!
A device connected to the power supply should never be opened!

Anti-theft Locking Device (Accessory)
An optional anti-theft locking device can be installed to the back of the bal-
t
ance.
