4.5.4 Serial Number and Date of Manufacture

The serial number on a Dynamic Controls product provides both the date of manufacture as well as a unique serial number for the
particular module.

The format, as shown above, is MYYnnnnnn, where:
M is for the month of manufacture, using the letters A to L (A = Jan, B
l
= Feb, C = Mar, etc.),
YY is the year of manufacture,
l
nnnnnn is a unique six-digit sequential number.
l
For example, the remote serial number begins with A14. This indicates the
remote was manufactured in January 2014. Its unique sequential value is
132800.
