13.16 B2FFE–00 — EMS AUTHENTICATION LOCKED

13.16.1 EMS ECU UNLOCKING

EMS ECU self locks itself, on exceeding maximum number of wrong ignition ON attempts

made, In this condition EMS ECU had to be unlocked to get EMS ECU back in system

DTC INFORMATION

NORMAL OPERATION

• Ignition ON

• After successful security authentication, vehicle starts

normally

DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS

• This combination is registered when the EMS ECU is

not initiating the security authentication. And EMS

ECU is locked due to exceeding maximum number of

ignition ON made under authentication failed condition.

DTC REACTIONS

• Immobilizer check lamp: OFF

• Engine check lamp: BLINKS

• Starter will not engage

HEALING CONDITION

• Unlock EMS ECU

13.16.2 DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

EMS ECU will be locked, when ignition is turned ON for more than 20

times under authentication failed condition.
