13.4 B2F40–00 — MISSING TRANSPONDER/NO RESPONSE

13.4.1 TRANSPONDER CHIP

Transponder is a chip which is present inside the key, during key authentication this chip will

get energized when it is inside the key barrel by the immobilizer ring and transmits RF signal

DTC Description

Immobilizer

Authentication failed

DTC INFORMATION

NORMAL OPERATION

• Ignition ON

• After successful security authentication, vehicle

starts normally

DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS

• This combination is registered when there is no

signal received from the key

DTC REACTIONS

• Immobilizer check lamp : ON

• Engine check lamp: BLINKS

• Starter will not engage

HEALING CONDITION

• Ignition OFF/ON

• Fault not present
