13.2.1 SECURITY COMPONENTS
EMS ECU, UICU and the transponder key. All the three components authenticate with each
other during every ignition cycle. Either one of it failed to authenticate or absent, will result in
immobilization of vehicle

DTC INFORMATION
NORMAL OPERATION
• Ignition ON
• After successful security authentication, vehicle starts
normally
DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS
• This combination is registered when there is no
challenge or invalid challenge received by UICU from
the EMS ECU, during ignition ON
DTC REACTIONS
• Immobilizer check lamp : ON
• Engine check lamp : BLINKS
• Starter will not engage
HEALING CONDITION
• Ignition OFF/ON
• Fault not present
