13.21.1 VIN IN EMS ECU AND UICU
Dealer tool reads VIN from EMS ECU as the first step to initiate the assignment process
before unlocking the EMS ECU
DTC Description

DTC INFORMATION
NORMAL OPERATION
• Ignition ON
• After successful security authentication, vehicle starts
normally
DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS
• This combination is registered when the VIN number
in the EMS ECU and UICU is not matching.
DTC REACTIONS
• Immobilizer check lamp: OFF
• Engine check lamp: OFF
• Starter will engage
HEALING CONDITION
• Ignition OFF\ON
• Fault not present
