13.1.1 EMS ECU AUTHENTICATION
During every ignition cycle, EMS ECU authenticate with other security components. in order to
allow the vehicle to crank and start

DTC INFORMATION
NORMAL OPERATION
• Ignition ON
• After successful security authentication, vehicle starts
normally
DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS
• This combination is registered when the signal from
the EMS ECU is not as expected by the UICU
DTC REACTIONS
• Immobilizer check lamp: OFF
• Engine check lamp: BLINKS
• Starter will engage, vehicle will not start
HEALING CONDITION
• Ignition OFF/ON
• Fault not present
