13.15 B2F4E–00 — TAG FEATURE CODING NOT DONE

13.15.1 FEATURE CODE

Immobilizer ECU (UICU) is mounted in the ignition barrel for this vehicle. TAG feature code is

return in UICU for it to understand the type of transponder/key being used.

DTC Description

–

DTC INFORMATION

NORMAL OPERATION

• Ignition ON

• After successful security authentication, vehicle starts

normally

DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS

• This combination is registered when the signal from

the key is not understood by the UICU

DTC REACTIONS

• Immobilizer check lamp: ON

• Engine check lamp Blinks

• Starter will not engage

HEALING CONDITION

• Ignition Off/On

• Fault not present

13.15.2 DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

TAG feature code field will be empty or when UICU is faulty. So if any of the below DTC

exist along with this DTC please follow the diagnostic procedure of those DTCs first

and then get back to this proceed.
