Step 1 - Determine the downconverter's HP-IB address
Look in the upper left corner of the display. The model number of the
module followed by its HP-IB address in parentheses should be displayed.
The two last two digits after the comma are the last two digits of the address.

For example, an HP 70724A with address 28 would display
. The complete HP-IB address for a computer with its
HP 70427A (0,28)
HP-IB interface select code set to seven would be 728.
If the downconverter doesn't respond to this address look on the MMS
address map to see if it has changed. If it has, cycling power or pressing the
key will reset the address to the number shown on the
INSTR PRESET
downconverter screen.
