AUTO IF GAIN
AUTO IF GAIN
This softkey triggers a one-time autoranging of the downconverter's IF gain.
The downconverter autoranges the IF amplifier's gain by first setting the
gain to its minimum (–10 dB) then stepping the gain up in 5 dB steps until
the signal level at the IF amplifier's output is between 0 and +6 dBm.
This function is disabled when the downconverter is in the AM noise mode
(
softkey has ON underlined).
