QMS Macintosh Utilities are utilities for controlling the printer from the
Macintosh. It is included on the QMS Software Utilities CD-ROM
shipped with your printer.

With the Macintosh on, insert the QMS Software Utilities CD-
ROM in your Macintosh's CD-ROM drive.

If necessary, double-click the CD-ROM icon to display the
CD-ROM contents.

Double-click the PLATFORM folder icon to display the folder
contents.

Double-click the MAC folder icon to display the folder
contents.

Double-click the UTILS folder icon to display the folder
contents.

Double-click the UTILS installer icon.

In the dialog box that appears, verify the Install location.
To change the Install Location you can either use the drop-down
list box to display and select the appropriate disk, or you can
choose the Switch Disk button to scroll through the available disks.

Also in the dialog box, choose Easy Install or Custom Install.
Easy Install automatically installs all of the utilities, including
the PDF, PDX, and PPD files and the screen fonts.
Custom Install allows you to choose the options you want to
install. The amount of available space on your Macintosh
hard disk and the amount of space necessary for all of the
selected options are indicated near the bottom of the window.

Note: If you're using Custom Install, you can click the small
icon (it looks like a capital I inside a square) to the right of
each install option for more information about that option.
