SRC formats
SRCs are strings of either six or eight alphanumeric characters. The first two characters designate the
reference code type.
The first characters indicate the type of error:
v 1xxxyyyy - System power control network (SPCN) error
v 6xxxyyyy - Virtual optical device error
v A1xxyyyy - Attention required (service processor)
v A2xxyyyy - Attention required (logical partition)
v A6xxyyyy - Attention required (Licensed Internal Code or hardware event)
v A7xxyyyy - Attention required (Licensed Internal Code)
v AAxxyyyy - Attention required (Partition firmware)
v B1xxyyyy - Service processor error, such as a boot problem
v B2xxyyyy - Logical partition error
v B6xxyyyy - Licensed Internal Code or hardware event error
v B7xxyyyy - Licensed Internal Code error
v BAxxyyyy - Partition firmware error
v Cxxxyyyy - Checkpoint (must hang to indicate an error)
v Dxxxyyyy - Dump checkpoint (must hang to indicate an error)

1xxxyyyy SRCs:

The 1xxxyyyy system reference codes are system power control network (SPCN) reference codes.
Find the system reference code in the list below. Follow the suggested actions in the order in which they
are listed until the problem is solved. If an action solves the problem, you can stop performing the
remaining actions. See Chapter 7, "Parts listing for IBM Flex System p270 Compute Node," on page 95 to
determine which components are CRUs and which components are FRUs.
