3.13.4 LOADING MATERIAL ON SLOPES
The loading of material on slopes is to be carried out on-
q
ly if absolutely necessary, always going up with the
bucket directed forward.
Go down slopes in reverse, with the loader directed
q
forward and lowered bucket.
Move changing direction slowly and with the bucket
q
lowered as much as possible.
Absolutely avoid reaching the transversal position with
q
respect to the slope direction.
Sudden movements of the bucket and dangerous posi-
q
tions may cause the machine to overturn and cause se-
rious damage or even death.
